Administration Officer
Salary: £11.23 ph
Contract: Temporary (minimum three months, expected longer)
Shift: Monday to Friday; 7am to 18pm
Hours: 37 - full-time only

Brook Street is looking to recruit an experienced, organised Admin Officer for our Government client based in Coventry.
Coventry International Hub is a remote location near to Coventry Airport. Access by public transport is limited therefore candidates may need to consider travel arrangements to enable travel to and from work on a daily basis.

Although duties would mainly be carried out in the office area, there is an expectation that occasional work will be required in the operational areas. The operational area is classed as a 'factory floor' environment. Applicants will need to be physically fit enough to climb stairways and work in an area where there is moving machinery. A degree of manual handling of parcels up to 30kg is involved at the Coventry Hub.
Coventry International Postal Hub is run by Parcel Force and handles in excess of 12 million international parcels each year. The positions to be covered will cover the following tasks

o Processing queries and correspondence relating to Duty and VAT raised on imported parcels.
o Arranging refunds to importers where necessary.
o Manage the units post in and out
o Assist with equipment and stationary stock checks.
