Brook Street Inverness are now recruiting for an Assistant Processing Manager. This role will contribute the smooth running of production and the quality of output. The successful candidate will act as critical link between colleagues operating on the production line and the Senior Management Team. This position will involve different aspects of Health & Safety, Quality Control and HR. REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
The ability to role model, setting a great example to your team members ensuring that quality is at the heart of everything.
Experience of supporting, training and coaching colleagues and the willingness to learn and develop your skills in this area.
Experience working in a similar role within the FMCG sector (preferably food manufacturing or food distribution)
Ability to apply knowledge of Health and Safety/Environmental legislation

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Leading by example to ensure standards are achieved in key areas such as health and safety, environment, hygiene and of course product quality assurance
You will ensure the training completed in a variety of roles and processes, is executed within the daily operation to ensure a competent workforce
Coaching, training, developing and motivating your team to achieve their targets.
Conduct annual appraisals and the maintenance of staff records
Implement training regime utilizing inhouse and external resources
Liaise with external Health & Safety representative
To actively suggest improvements to Company operations and documentation that will improve product quality and/or packing efficiency and/or the Quality Control function overall Health & Safety, Food Safety
To ensure the health and safety standards of site, staff and product are met according to company policy, third party standards and law.
