Do you have experience working across projects supporting young people aged 16-25 preferably in the housing sector? This is an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the door with one of the UK`s leading children`s charities!

As a market leading care agency, we have opportunities available for skilled Support Workers with experience of working across housing projects and homeless projects to work for a charitable organisation on a temporary basis supporting young adults aged 16-25.

Your experience of working in a similar setting and supporting young people will be vital to the role. Your responsibilities will include building on support plans and engaging with the young people in order to promote independence, supporting with day to day living skills, supporting with tenancy management, housing benefits and general support with organisation education and employment opportunities, whilst assisting with health and safety checks and interviewing new people and assessing young people in the waiting list.

Your experience of working with young people and working within similar projects will be essential to the role (a minimum of 1 year`s experience or 6 months with a relevant qualification NVQ Level 3 CCYP or equivalent in the care sector will be required). Flexibility will be required to work across various shifts including day shifts and night shifts and an enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service) is essential!
