Job Description

Our well known storage company client based in Luton is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join their team and be the face and heart of their business. Are you a people person looking to make a real difference? Do you have a "lead by example" management style? Then this role is for you!

Using your brilliant people skills, you`ll determine what their customers` situation is and provide the relevant solutions and support they need. Whether it be; putting your cracking sales skills to use by promoting their products or using your initiative to ensure services and standards are well maintained. With full training provided right from the start, once you step through our door you will be fully supported in your career.

You will be able to show a bit of get up and go, so don`t be afraid of getting stuck into your work with passion and enthusiasm. As an Assistant Store Manager your main role is to support your Store Manager in all aspects of running your store, in order to grow and develop your business. Previous management experience is not essential as this is a small team however, you will be able to show ability to manage your team and also your customers.

You will be expected to provide the highest standards of customer service in person, via email and also on the phone. You will be able to maximise sales at every opportunity through promoting products and services available, complete health and safety walk arounds and also maintain general cleanliness of the site. The perfect candidate will also be trustworthy as you will be a key holder expected to open and close the store, you will have confidence to coach and develop your sales advisors and able to support the store manager in all aspects of running the store.

you will have A "can do" attitude, not afraid of getting stuck into your work, Management experience demonstrating a lead by example attitude and also strong listening skills with a genuine desire to help others and learn. The perfect candidate will also have the ability to problem solve whilst building rapport with customers and colleagues, Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to make decisions and also enthusiasm and consistency with the ability to work alone or within a team
