Brook Street are proud to be working with a market leading firm who have over 160 year`s experience in the industry. Currently looking for an Assistant Tax Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity where a relocation package is available.
Your job will be demanding and varied but with the potential for a lifelong career within the industry for an ambitious individual. Your role will involve assisting with the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns on behalf of our clients, dealing with HM Revenue & Customs and assisting with department administration.
You will be a confident and driven individual, comfortable to deal professionally with managers and other contacts and be a strong ambassador for the company. You will have the ability to use your own initiative and to problem solve.
You will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Practical experience in a tax department is preferable but not essential as is experience of personal, partnership, LLP, trust and corporate tax return preparation.
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills are a must along with a can do, positive attitude.
