Job Description

The successful candidate will direct the Employment Relations directorate within the organisation. This is a pivotal role and will see the successful candidate meeting and negotiating with Trade Union representatives and political stakeholders.

This is a national role and will involve liaising with people across the 4 countries (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) around Trade Union issues, Pay & Benefits, Pensions, Contract Terms etc. A strong knowledge of political issues surrounding employment and benefits is essential

The successful candidate will deliver clear, concise and accurate advice and direction for the organisation as a whole.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Trade Union activities
• Knowledge of Health care / Social Care
• True understanding of Employee Relations
• Demonstrable experience of working with senior leaders
• PR and Media experience (Radio, TV, etc)

This is an interesting and pivotal role, which is offered on a temporary basis initially until April 2021 whilst the employer conduits their permanent recruitment process. This role is paid weekly on a PAYE basis, on an hourly basis, equivalent to c. £77,000 per year with increased benefits post-12 weeks (increased annual leave allowance). The role will see the successful candidate working from home, however travel across the UK is required as necessary.
