Job Description

We're a forward thinking Law Firm and due to growing our teams we're after a new Associate for our Corporate team.

Based in Central London accessible by tube and a stones throw from some of London's greenest, nicest outdoors spaces. We have a very busy but happy working environment and great clients as well as colleagues (we would say so).
For over 60 years we've been a trusted legal partner for organisations across a number of industries including Media, Publishing, Technology, Hospitality Real Estate and Fashion just to name a few!
We have a headcount of circa 50 staff members including 16 partners and we want somebody who can come in and Integrate with the Corporate team and Partners.
As our new Associate we're also keen on career development and will look at helping you progress your skills with easy access to senior staff members.
Currently the corporate team has 5 partners along with 3 senior associates and a further 6 solicitors. We handle a broad range of both corporate and commercial matters usually typically mid-market on deal below £100m with clients ranging from start-ups to multi-national clients.
As a trusted and integral member of our Corporate team you will be picking up with matters such as….
o Business Recovery/Restructuring
o o Equity Capital Raisings
o o Intellectual Property Licensing & Exploitation
o o Joint Ventures and Shareholders agreements
o o Mergers & Acquisitions
o o Private Equity
o o Start-ups
o o Venture Capital

We'll also ask you to pick up different aspects such as………


" Managing a variety of corporate /commercial transactions and/ or associated issues
" Drafting, amending and negotiating documents in respect of M&A, investments and joint ventures or shareholder arrangements
" Managing more junior team members and/or business support staff
" Leading and/or participating in business development initiatives


Our standard hours are 9.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday and we're currently working a hybrid model of in our awesome office and home working.

Ideally we are looking for a candidate coming from a similar environment working Corporate clients at comparable size with a minimum 4 years PQE.

Essential Requirements - 4 Years PQE.
