Job Description

Brook Street are currently looking for a ATT qualified Tax Senior with at least 1 years experience working within a private accountants practice.

Working with a small team in an open office environment and dealing with around 1000 clients between you and your colleagues.

You will be able to prepare and finalise SAE returns, Trusts & Estates, Children of Trusts, Pensioners, Property & Sole Trader accounts and capital gains tax completions.

Planning and some advisory work will be involved, along with Tax due including interest and penalties & PAYE coding notices. You will be advising your clients day to day either face to face in the office or occasionally in their own homes, via the telephone and email.

You must also be able to speak to /email/write and deal with the HMRC of behalf of clients in respect of:

Incorrect statements of accounts
Notices of Coding, Enquiries, Disclosures and any other matters

Whilst also be able to deal with some aspects of Corporation Tax including-

Ensuring deadlines for submission of CT600`s are met
To ensure client is aware of CT due and dates due
