ATT Tax Trainee in Yeovil and Taunton!

A well-known firm with many offices located across the south west with chartered accountants, tax consultants and financial planners are looking for an ATT Tax Trainee.
You will be working in an established Tax Department in a trainee role, gaining experience to become a key player in processing tax returns and providing the whole range of tax compliance support to our personal tax clients. This position involves a number of different aspects including preparing tax computations, processing tax returns, and H M Revenue & Customs documents on behalf of clients. Assignments will be undertaken both in the office and at client`s premises. Trainees will have support and on the job training from managers and other senior staff. During your training you will be expected to develop an understanding of the practical issues involved in delivering a high-quality service to clients.

Ideally (although not essential), the successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
" A minimum 2.1 degree and mostly A/B grades at GCSE and A levels (or equivalent)
" Be a self-starter and motivated to work independently; there is a real opportunity to shape this role
" Highly analytical
" Accurate and able to self-check work
" Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving capabilities including the ability to research around a topic
" Ability to think practically in terms of possible scenarios that a business may face
" Be a good communicator, both internally and with clients
" Strong Excel skills (although these can be taught if necessary)

This is a full-time and permanent role with positions both in Taunton and Yeovil Monday - Friday. With a salary of £18,250
