Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of the East Midlands police force for an Audit and Compliance officer for an initial 12-month temporary contract based at Leicestershire Police Headquarters at their Head office in Enderby, this may become permanent for the right candidate.

This role will be working with the EMOPSS Support team assisting with the compliance and audit of police processes and assisting with the implementation of risk assessments within the specialist areas of the force.

Other duties of this role will involve;
" Writing, reviewing and assisting risk assessments.
" Carrying out quality and compliance checks on various specialist police departments
" Making recommendations for change/development to ensure best practice at all times

To be considered for this role you must;
" Have worked in an audit and compliance-based role previously
" Experience working with risk assessments and risk management
" Have a valid UK driving licence, access to a car and be willing to travel to various sites in the East Midlands area
" Have the confidence to challenge procedures
" Relevant qualification would be beneficial.

Successful candidates must pass NPPV2 level 2 police vetting, please note this may take up to 12 weeks to receive clearance.

This role is working Monday - Friday between the hours of 8-6, the hiring manager is flexible if 37 hours a week are worked.

The hourly rate of pay is £11.75 per hour.
