BS Social Care are working with a local Northampton organisation who provides top quality care with service users homes and within the community depending on the service users` needs and that they are doing on that particular day. We are looking for hard working, committed and loyal candidates who take the Autism need very seriously and want to learn a lot around this sector of the health and social care.

About the employer; this organisation has just had their 6th birthday and they are always growing but at a steady pace ensuring service users care is not affected and nor are the Support Workers. They have 2 Owners who have a huge amount of Autism and care experience and knowledge due to working for different care companies within their careers gaining ideas and ways of working to now use that within their own service. They are people who want only the best for both their service users and staff. The locations that we cover are; Northamptonshire; Northampton, town centre, St James, Weston Favel, Dallington, Riverside, Blisworth, Towcester, Hunsbury, Higham, Kettering, Daventry, Wellingborough. You will be paired with service users close to you where possible, however, should the needs of the service users change, or you are needed elsewhere, you will be moved so you are never given a permanent place to work but your rota will try and work as best for you as possible.

About the job; this role is for someone who wants to either use their Autism knowledge and experience and take it to the next level or learn more around the Autism need and train to become a great Support Worker. You will be working closely with your service users and your colleagues to provide top quality care whilst enjoying your time on shift. This is a role that will empower and support others in the way that they deserve which will in turn, give you great job satisfaction. You will support your service users in everything that they do giving them the opportunity to lead a happy and fulfilled life by not being held back due to their needs.

About the ideal candidate;

It is an essential that you are a driver
It is essential that you hold at least 1 years within care within the last 2 years - it is ideal that this experience is within Autism, but this is not essential
It is ideal that you hold a qualification within care or care related but this is not essential

For this full time and permanent role working 40 hours per month and every other weekend, you will be paid £8.21ph if you do not hold a qualification, £8.26ph for someone who holds an NVQ level 2 or above. This would then increase by 10p after a years` service and further 10p after a second year. You will also be put through your health and social care qualification, all training, full induction and more.
