We're working with an exciting West Yorkshire based Technology company looking for an experienced AV Business Development candidate to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role will be field based, predominately covering the South of the UK. With a head office in West Yorkshire with easy access to motorway links, the role would suit candidates from both the North and South of England and can be office & field or home & field based dependent on your requirements.
This role will be to support the Audio Visual arm of the company, providing cutting edge solutions to businesses. Ideally you will be from an integrator, reseller or channel sales background, with a tenacious and determined attitude!
A day in the role will typically include:
Identifying & winning opportunities through a mixture of new business development and account management
Building and maintaining strong relationships, visiting customers at least once per month
Preparing and presenting detailed proposals to customers
Attending and hosting customers at Technology events
Liaising with support teams at head office to ensure contractual SLAs are managed
Monitoring your portfolio and providing quarter on quarter and year on year results, presenting your findings in directors meetings.
Keeping up to date with technological advancements and solutions, developing a trusted opinion of the current market
We're looking for:
Sales experience in the IT/AV sector is essential!
You'll also need excellent software knowledge and commercial acumen
Target driven, solutions focused attitude
Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
There is nowhere to hide in this industry! You need to be tenacious, determined, focused and above all credible to be successful in this role.
