Job Description

We are working on behalf of a City Broker who is looking to expand their Aviation team due to increased business.There is currently a team of 17 people in London and 6 in their European Office. This is a genuine opportunity to join a growing successful team.

We anticipate that the successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years Aviation experience within a Lloyds Broker and is able to demonstrate high quality output along with good communication skills. The ability to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation and maintenance of systems and records along with a good working knowledge of Global XB, would be a distinct advantage.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Typing letters and correspondence
Entering data onto Global system in accordance with group standards
Issuing authorised cover notes and debit notes to clients
Chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade
Liaising with clients to request information and chasing for outstanding funds
Providing regular feedback to brokers and Head of Division in respect of ongoing accounts and market conditions
Sending out quotes on request and dealing with related enquiries
Identifying and understanding clients risk and requirements
Acting as point of contact for specific accounts and attending client meetings to support Broker on request
Dealing with complex queries from Brokers, clients and Underwriters and escalating where appropriate
Reviewing divisional and systems processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement
Undertaking general office administrative duties as and when required
Training, coaching and reviewing the work of less experienced team members as appropriate
Ensuring compliance with FCA Guidelines and Group rules and procedures, including maintaining accurate records
Timely and efficient problem resolution
