Job Description

Are you an experienced Events Marketing Manager with strong experience of B2B events marketing - then this challenging and busy role within a lovely team could be for you!

Based in the Aldgate area of the City of London and paying a maximum of £35000

This role is working for a company that has strong links to the healthcare industry and your role is to design and deliver effective multichannel strategic event marketing campaigns that attract awards' entrants, conference delegates secure sponsors by driving engagement and producing clear qualified sales leads.

Working on a diverse portfolio of new and established events in healthcare, this role offers a wonderful opportunity for an experienced event marketer to own, nurture and grow their events
Your duties will include:

  • Use automation (Marketo) to deliver campaigns, improve segmentation and lead scoring
  • Develop engaging and responsive marketing collateral
  • Use content to engage, segment and target prospects
  • Ensure marketing and sales activity is measured to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure stakeholders/teams are fully aligned with your strategic marketing objectives
  • Work with the sales/commercial directors to maximise engaged leads and conversion
  • Work with the editorial/producers to define audiences and develop content strategies

    Skills and competencies:

    • Excellent communication skills: able to develop and maintain strong personal relationships with team members and external stakeholders
    • Structured and organised, but also flexible
    • Analytical and data focused
    • Clear understanding (with examples) of marketing metrics and KPIs, testing, performance measurement and the application of basic marketing principles
    • Delivering reactive and automated marketing campaigns
    • Clear understanding of the commercial business practices that underpin conferences and awards, a strong commercial awareness and a clear comprehension of profit and loss/basic business principles

    IT experience:

    • Marketing automation (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, Hubspot or similar)
    • Sales CRM (SalesForce, MS Dynamics or similar)
    • Strong Microsoft Excel and/or data visualization tools such as Tableau
    • Google analytics, webtrends or similar
    • PPC including Google Ads and Linked-in essential
    • Website CMS
    • Social Media campaign management (Sprout, Hootsuite etc…)
