Job Description

Job Title: B2B Energy Sales Consultant

Working Hours: Monday -Thursday 8:45-17:00, Friday 8:45-16:00, relaxed dress code in the office

Salary: £18k-£20k + commission, OTE year 1 £30k+

Location: Blackpool, Lancashire.

Brook Street is recruiting for fantastic sales professionals to join privately owned business to introduce a range of energy cost reduction and sustainable energy products to large commercial energy consumers, to book meetings with high level executive contacts.

Responsibilities:

- Achievement of personal sales and performance targets - including high volume cold calling business customers

-To arrange initial and subsequent meetings for the sales team, promote and support the launch of new products and initiatives as required

-To complete all paperwork to the required standard, ensuring smooth communication to sales and operations

-To ensure CRM is updated correctly

-To maximise the potential for appointments by contacting the appropriate people in all events

-To ensure appointments are made of high quality and meet the standard required

-To consistently achieve monthly appointments, KPI's and annual sales targets

-To encourage team motivation and play an active role in achieving team targets

-Highlight opportunities for business development and research

-To prioritise appointment making according to the business requirements

-Collect and record information of prospects using websites, cold calling and any other appropriate method

-Communicate and interact with business decision-makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities

Ideal candidate will have:

-B2B - advanced telephone selling skills in the corporate space

-Resilience. tenacity, self- assured and assertive on the telephone

-A creative ability coupled with excellent interpersonal skills to relate to key business decision makers at any level

-Corporate Energy Industry experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to overcome a wide range of objections

- Highly driven and ambitious

- Highly self-motivated with the ability to motivate others

- Great at rapport building and nurturing business relationships
