BAND 2 - BOOKING COORDINATOR
LOCATION: BRISTOL
HOURS: 37.5 hrs weekly, Monday - Friday
SALARY: £21,777 annual

Band 2 - Booking Coordinator
Currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to provide an efficient, accurate and timely service by booking outpatient appointments and managing allocated clinic bookings as requested within the agreed booking schedule, following all trust policies, procedures, and processes.
(Using appropriate technologies, such as our Patient Administration System EMIS).
Travel may be required at times, so appropriate transport will be required for this role to work between Bristol Eastgate Centre and Weston-Super-Mare.
Main Duties for the Band 2 - Booking Coordinator, in Bristol:
To provide booking support to the CCHP Centralised Booking Team.
Exercising initiative, independent judgement and decision-making arising from situations within the role. The post-holder will be required to liaise with different staff members and the public.
To work jointly with the support Operational Service Lead to ensure timely management of clinic bookings, document output and internal target policies underpinned by clinical pathways. The role will include organising the onward referral of patients, coordinating internal waiting lists, and booking clinics for community paediatrics across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
Essential for the Band 2 - Booking Coordinator, in Bristol:
-GCSE Grade C+ English and Maths (or equivalent)
-Recognised computer IT Skills. Computer Literacy skills including MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and other systems such as ECDL (European Computer Driving License)
-Excellent Customer Service Skills
-Prioritise and time manage own and others' workloads
-Demonstrates and understands the importance of confidentiality, GDPR
-Ability to work with all people of all levels both inside and outside the organisation
-Ability to maintain relevant records and information systems
Desirable for the Band 2 - Booking Coordinator, in Bristol:
-Experience of working in faced paced NHS Admin Healthcare environment
-Knowledge of current NHS policies and procedures
-Knowledge/working experience of clinic bookings
