Job Description

JOB TITLE: Estates Administrator

Pay Grade: Band 2 Rate of pay will start at minimum wage for your age and increase to £9.21 after 12 weeks.
HOURS: 16 hours per week over 2/3 days to be discussed at interview
This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31/12/2020.

We`ve got a great opportunity for a role within the NHS sector, to join a fast-paced office, working as administrative support within the Estates department. Working with a professional team, you`ll be based in Chelmsford and will enjoy being part of a company with a great work life balanced.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
To have an understanding of the Estates Department workload and its complexity.
Communicate via email or telephone on behalf of the Estates Department from or to members of the public, staff, managers, MP`s, or representatives of other agencies.
To work autonomously to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all administrative processes.
Manage, co-ordinate, prepare and distribute documents for Senior Management meetings including minute taking as required.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and internal trust specific software packages to enable internal and external presentation, adhering to standards of corporate style.
Maintaining the department`s "S" Drive to ensure documents are easy to find; and managing secure and confidential information as needed.
Ensure all documentation is completed and verified in accordance with Trust procedures and protocols.
Led on the production of new Verex access control cards and distribute to operational staff
Amend/Add or Delete staff names from the Verex database.

What we`ll need from you:
" Experience of using database systems would be desirable & experience of Microsoft Office essential.
" Working knowledge of data protection and patient and staff confidentiality requirements.
" Communication & organisational skills
" Availability for the full duration of your assignment.
" Background checks including 3 years of employment referencing
" Able to work in an office environment where Infection control, Health, Safety, Security and risk management is adhered to.
