Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of a national government organisation for an experienced project administrator for an immediate start role, on an initial 12-week temporary assignment. Based in central Bedford, this role will be assisting a remotely based project delivery team during a crucial period of change to the organisation.
The main function of this role is to provide sectorial and administrative support to the head of business strategy and chance, assisting with the day to day duties and meetings through diary management, meeting co-ordination and completion of key documents. Other duties include;
- Minute taking
- Setting meeting agendas
- Engaging with key stake holders
- Supporting the project delivery officers
- Provide information and support in the review of Divisional change programmes
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a project environment, excellent minute taking skills, experience setting agendas, comfortable working with various Microsoft packages e.g. word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to multitask/adapt to ever changing deadlines.
Although this role is predominately based in Bedford, you may be required to occasionally travel to officers in London to work with other team members. The core working hours are 09.00 - 17.00 Monday, the hourly rate of pay starts at £9.51. Successful candidates will also be issued with laptop and mobile phone.
