Job Description

Hours: 37 per week
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm
Pay: £10.02
Contract length: until 10/05/21
Location: Working from home

The Project Officer role is responsible for assisting the Business Strategy and Change team in supporting Regional Probation Directors to improve the planning and delivery of change programmes. You will work closely with Regional and National Transition staff.

Tasks will include: dealing with information requests, meeting administration (including minute taking which is a significant part of the role), representation at meetings for the Business Strategy and Change team, supporting deployment activities and collating information and data to produce reporting documents. Excellent Microsoft word and excel skills are vital for the role.

The skills and behaviours required are: making effective decisions, changing and improving, working together and delivering at pace. The role will be undertaken at present on a remote basis, so an ability to be self-motivated and engage appropriately via remote means is essential. You will have contact with third parties and the public by phone and email. You must have good customer service skills with good written/oral communication.

Due to the DBS check, you must have been a resident in the UK for five consecutive years, spending no longer than six months abroad during this period.
