Job title: Admin Officer
Hours: Standard office hours
Location: Cardiff/Work from Home with occasional visits to office
Hourly rate: £10.02 - £11.53 over 25 yr old / £9.50 - £11.53 under 25 yr old
Contract: Longer term temporary (exact duration unknown)
The role is currently working from home for the foreseeable future
My client is a well-known public sector organisation looking to recruit an experienced Administrator.
The Temporary Worker will provide junior management support and carry out administrative duties that are moderately complex. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
" Preparing routine correspondence and checking that of others
" Communicating via email, phone and video conferencing
" Compiling, verifying and reporting data
" Completing forms or reports
" Managing the shared mailbox
" Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
" Producing meeting minutes and actions for both internal and external parties
Typical qualifications and experience:
" Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above
" Two 'A' level passes at grade E or above or equivalent
" Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
" Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
