Our client has advised us that the role is full time and temporary for 2 months initially

The Job:
To assist the Professional Support Team in providing a high quality professional support service to the organisation, its staff, trainees and stakeholders. The Professional Support Officer will be responsible for coordinating the payroll for doctors in the GP training programme, recruitment processes for our clients Educational Leaders and the regional - checks service for doctors and dentists in training.

Ability to handle confidential and difficult situations with discretion and diplomacy.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Effective planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (as appropriate to meet the needs of the post in full), and to establish good professional relationships.
Ability to work accurately, demonstrating attention to detail, whilst working to tight deadlines


Experience / Qualifications for the role: 2 A Levels or equivalent or higher qualification and 18 months relevant experience or 3 years relevant experience
Experience should include:
Managing recruitment and selection processes
Using human resources information systems
Input and retrieval of information from the shortlisting by application form
Databases or other information systems
Working in an office environment carrying out clerical/administrative duties such as filing, preparing letters and dealing with queries
RSA/OCR stage two word processing (both parts)
or at least 18 months` word processing experience
Minimum of one year`s experience, in the past three years of using Microsoft Office(including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).



In return, you will be paid an hourly rate of 11.20 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
