Brook Street is currently seeking a Band II Part-Time Admin Support Officer, for a period of 3 months initially with the potential of extension, to join our Public Sector client's team.
Our public sector client would like someone with at least one year`s experience working within an administrative or clerical environment, with GCSE Maths and English qualifications/ In lieu of these, our client will also accept candidates with 18 months' experience in an office environment with RSA Stage II typing or equivalent.
Duties will include;
- Dealing with the receipt and distribution of correspondence, reports, faxes, e-mail and sensitive correspondence
- Word processing and typing of papers and correspondence
- Receiving and dealing with telephone communications
- Acting as main point of contact for enquiries and information
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, effective communications and organisational skills and the ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team are essential criteria to meet the needs of these roles.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1300; in return you will be paid £8.66 per hour.
