Brook Street is currently seeking a Band III Administration Assistant for an initial period of 2 months, with the possibility of extension, to join our busy Public Sector clients' team in Portadown.
Our public sector client would like someone with at least one year`s experience in Administration, GCSE Maths and English and two A-Levels or equivalent qualification. In lieu of these, our client will also accept candidates with 18 months' experience in an office environment with RSA Stage II typing or equivalent.
Duties will include;
- Receiving telephone calls
- Word processing and typing of documents
- Creation of files
- Working on the computer with internal systems
- Attending meetings and recording minutes.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, effective communications and organisational skills and the ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team are essential criteria to meet the needs of these roles.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700; in return you will be paid an hourly rate of £8.90.
