Brook Street is currently seeking two Administration Assistants for a period of 3 months in Belfast City Centre, to join our busy Public Sector clients' team.
Our public sector client would like someone with at least one year`s experience in Administration, GCSE Maths and English and two A-Levels or equivalent qualification. In lieu of these, our client will also accept candidates with 18 months' experience in an office environment with RSA Stage II typing or equivalent.
Duties will include;
The efficient organisation and management of Officers' diaries using computerised diary software.
Dealing with the receipt and distribution of correspondence, reports, faxes, e-mail and sensitive correspondence.
Word processing and typing of agendas, papers and reports.
Receiving and dealing with telephone communications as appropriate.
Organising meetings, conferences and workshops including arranging venues, notifying attendees and minute taking.
Making appropriate travel and organisational arrangements as required.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, effective communications and organisational skills and the ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team are essential criteria to meet the needs of these roles.
There are two different hours of work for each role, they are as follows;
Monday to Friday 08.45 -17:00
Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00
In return you will be paid £8.49 per hour.
A qualification in Audio Typing and knowledge of the role of a Personal Secretary are desirable but not essential criteria.
