Here at Brook Street (UK) Ltd, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Band III Assistant Medical Secretary for our trusted Public Sector client in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to use your communication word-processing and excellent organisational skills.
Duties you will be responsible for include;
- Providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to Staff Consultants and their teams
- Call handling and message taking
- Copy typing and audio typing
- Updating records, maintaining and updating databases
- Filing, faxing, photocopying, and completing all general office duties
To be eligible for this role, you will hold:
4 GCSEs Grade C or above, to include English, or equivalent and 1 year's secretarial/clerical experience.
NVQ Level 2 in Administration and 1 year's secretarial experience/clerical experience.
2 years' secretarial/clerical experience and GCSE Grade C or above in English or equivalent.
RSA/OCR Stage II word processing/typewriting qualification is essential for this role.
It will be highly advantageous for candidates to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access and PowerPoint and previous experience compiling and producing documents, reports and letters.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, in return you will be paid £8.90 per hour. This will be paid on a weekly basis.
