Brook Street (UK) Ltd is currently seeking a Band III Facilities Support Officer for our trusted Public Sector client based in Belfast city centre; this is a temporary role for six months initially, with the possibility of extension.
Duties of this role will include;
" Monitor and ensure the tidiness and upkeep of premises offices by regular inspection and review. This includes the logging of maintenance faults, prioritisation of work and scheduling of work in conjunction with internal or external maintenance contractors.
" Provide advice to Corporate Services managers in relation to the preparation of office maintenance schedules and instigate and track minor works requests for buildings and facilities related matters.
" Participation in the management of buildings related contracts.
" Organisation lead for space allocation, moves and changes of furniture and facilities issues within the office. This role involves drawing up work specifications in conjunction with staff and liaising with internal and external contractors
" Responsibility for portering services within the office to include room setup, furniture, file boxes and equipment.
" Responsibility for confidential waste disposal to include liaison with organisation directorates in relation to their requirements.
" Responsibility for administering car parking provision to include booking systems, car parking contracts, database of staff car park users.
Hours of this role are 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £8:49 and this will be paid on weekly basis.
