Brook Street (UK) Ltd is seeking a Band III Clerical Officer for 12 months with the possibility of extension for our Public Sector client in Dundonald / East Belfast
Our public sector client would like someone with at least one years` experience in a Customer Service / Telephony background to work in their busy team.
The hours of work will be between 09:00 -1700 Monday to Friday (37:5 hours per week) . Rate of pay will be £10.09 per hour and this will be paid on a weekly basis.
Duties will include:
Input and extract patient information onto any relevant electronic information systems [eg. PAS, Patient Centre, Electronic patient record etc] in order to provide an effective and efficient patient access and waiting list service up-dating data promptly to ensure that the patient`s record is correct.
Select patients from the waiting list in clinical priority and chronological order and offer appointment/ admission date.
Monitor primary targeting lists to assist in meeting DOH waiting time targets.
Proactively manage any potential patient access identifying concerns and raising them with Line Manager before considering the options and then implementing appropriate action.
Scheduling slots for outpatient clinics/theatre & endoscopy lists amending templates as required.
Ensuring that clinic/theatre & endoscopy capacity is optimised by filling of all available slots.
You will be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Candidates must have four GCSEs at grade C and one year`s relevant experience
Previous experience in PAS/ NHS experience would be desirable or within a similar role.
