Brook Street is seeking a Band III Personal Secretary for our client in the Derry area; This is a fantastic opportunity for those with administration or word processing experience.
Our public sector client is seeking an experienced administrator with a typing qualification to join their team for an initial period of one month, with the possibility of extension.
Our public sector client would like someone with 5 GCSE's (Grades A-C) to include English Language and Maths or equivalent of higher educational standard and one year's secretarial* experience OR NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent or higher educational standard and one year's secretarial* experience; OR 3 years secretarial* experience;
*Secretarial experience is defined as experience in an office-based environment to include diary management, dealing with enquiries, work processing, co-ordinating meetings and taking notes at meetings.
In addition to one of the above, 6 months experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word is essential.
Duties for this position will include maintain diaries and arranging events and transport, minute taking and audio typing, maintain filing system, ensuring administration is completed within deadline.
You will be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, work within a team environment with minimum supervision and work in a highly confidential environment.
The hours of work are 09.00 -17:00, Monday to Friday (37.5hours per week), with an hourly pay rate of £8.90.
