Brook Street uk LTD is currently seeking a NHS Ward Clerk within HSCNI for a period of 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension, to join our client`s busy Public Sector team in Belfast

Our public sector client would like someone with at least one year`s experience in Administration, GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in NHS would be advantageous but not essential.

" Responsible for overseeing out-patient clinics in the Dialysis Unit.

" Provide clerical support for the Patient Education Unit out-patient clinics.

" Reception duties for renal clinics and administration of car parking facilities.

" Maintenance of patients` charts following review by medical staff.

" Extraction and preparation of department notes for various weekly clinics held in the Dialysis Unit.

" Ordering ambulances for patients attending out-patient clinics.

" Deal with incoming / outgoing mail and ensure that mail is distributed and redirected appropriately to relevant staff and in a timely manner.

" Ensure that all systems used, both manual and computerised, are maintained in an accurate and timely way and in accordance with local policy and procedure.


A working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel , effective communications and organisational skills and the ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team are essential criteria to meet the needs of these roles.

The hours of work are 37: 50 hours per week in return you will be paid an hourly rate of £10.09 per hour, this will be paid on a weekly basis.
