Here at Brook Street (UK) Ltd, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Band IV Medical Secretary for our trusted Public Sector client in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to display your communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties you will be responsible for include;
- Copy typing and audio typing
- Updating and maintaining diaries
- Updating records, maintaining and updating databases
- Filing, faxing, photocopying, and completing all general office duties
- Working to deadlines and acting with precision and speed
To be eligible for this role, you will hold:
RSA / OCR Stage II Text Processing Part I and Part II (Word Processing/Typewriting) or equivalent, four GCSE's Grade C or above (to include English Language) or equivalent and 2 years secretarial/administrative experience
NVQ Level 2 in Administration and 2 years secretarial/administrative experience
3 year's secretarial experience* and GCSE Grade C or above in English Language or equivalent.
An audio typing qualification or audio typing experience together with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access and PowerPoint are essential criteria for this role.
It will be highly advantageous for candidates to have a working knowledge of Hospital Systems such as PAS and Patient Centre, and previous experience compiling and producing documents, reports and letters.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, in return you will be paid £10.20 per hour. This will be paid on a weekly basis.
