Job Description

We are looking to fill this highly unusual unique role based in both the City of London and Loughton Essex.

Our client is looking for someone ideally with back office banking experience or who has some knowledge of payment processes including Swift and CHAPS payments.

This team operates on a shift basis Monday to Friday and there is also the opportunity to work weekends where overtime will be paid - monitoring and overseeing the running of this centralised system that is responsible for these special payments. You will be working on various projects where you will operate and monitor activity on their RTGS and other systems.

You will be offered one to one training for 3 months learning the processes, as well as getting involved in individual projects.

There are 4 shifts covering London and Loughton as follows;

4.30am till 11.30 (Taxi paid for early start) 7-8 /month earning an extra £42 per shift
12 noon til 8pm (Taxi provided for home journey)2-3/month earning an extra £42 per shift
9-5 and 10 - 6 called a middle /overlap shift


There will also be a lot of weekend work available to you dealing with special projects where there is an extra payment of £62 for coming in plus time and a half overtime to be earned.

In total there is the potential to earn an extra minimum £5000 plus ALL the additional earnings for weekend work. We need you to have some payments admin/ back office Banking experience with proven ability to meet strict deadlines. Your CV MUST highlight your organisational skills as well as your ability to multitask. This role will NOT suit someone who has been working in a role which is purely data inputting in banking but WILL suit someone with the relevant banking/payments knowledge who may also has been involved in various projects or similar.
