Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Settlements clerk to join a busy and growing team.

Your main duties will be the processing and settlement of trades for their customers who are mainly other banks and building societies.

Working in a team of 22 staff - across 2 locations- the City AND their office in Debden Essex. A travel allowance will be offered to allow for this. Shifts across these locations cover the hours of 8am- 7.30pm and again are shared across the whole team but you would be expected to work on average 3-4 late shifts per month. Overtime is paid for these late shifts.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of Back-office Settlements and have a good working knowledge of banking systems.

You will be a confident communicator who has experience of liaising with clients and front/middle office colleagues and have proven experience of working to deadlines. This role will probably suit someone who is looking for their 2nd job in this area who is looking to build a long-lasting career in a very high profile company
