Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a fast-expanding specialist company in the Knowsley area.

This company offers an appealing salary

This job will require you to have at least 3 years proven experience in a Bookkeeping position, you should be flexible organised and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of accounts.

It is essential for this position that you have an AAT level 3, Bookkeeping experience, knowledge of QuickBooks and UK Tax knowledge.

Main duties will include:

Advise Managing Director on tax liabilities
Issue payment requests and invoices for the company
Maintain purchase ledger
Manage and track VAT liabilities
Prepare and submit corporation tax returns in accordance with annual deadlines
Report on any company debt liabilities
Support accounts audit processes with external accounts auditors
Monitor and oversee company bank accounts

This position requires you to be experienced and capable as you will be expected to hit the ground running.
