Bookkeeper

£15,000 - £25,000 Depending on Experience

Are you an Experienced Bookkeeper?

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity? If so, my prestigious growing client in Hull is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their highly successful team.

What you will be responsible for

This is a busy role assisting the team in delivering excellent service to its clients. You will be responsible for balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers. Report financial results to the outsource manager. Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes

You must have exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work unsupervised and to tight deadlines.

What our client is looking for in you

A proven track record of your brilliance is essential. Ideally AAT qualified or qualified by experience. You should also have a high degree of competency in double entry bookkeeping and recent experience in software such as Sage, Quickbooks, Freeagent, or Xero. We are looking for someone who is able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You should also have a good understanding of profit and loss accounts, VAT, and balance sheets.
