Job Description

Admin Officer - Immingham / Goole

Our Public Sector client is seeking experienced administrators to join their team located at sites in Immingham and Goole.

Duties will include:" AOs to work to the Os as a team to meet International Trade operational delivery. " Primary duties to include, Transit/ TIR procedures (NCTS - or relevant Transit system as implemented), International Trade examinations, any UK form of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) as implemented, Intellectual Property Rights (Counterfeit), Strategic Exports, Missing Trader Intra Community (MTIC), Supply Chain. "

There may be a requirement for staff to deploy to core locations to support other frontline pressures, utilising their original skill sets, which need to be maintained.

Although the work will mainly be office based, staff will need to attend locations to carry out visits and examination of goods to BF standards. International Trade EU Exit Task Force staff will be carrying out examinations and documentary checks as set down by BF policy and standard operating procedures, with some liaison and interface with other government departments to meet UK government requirements.

This is a temporary role due to start in October and be for a 12-month contract Rates of pay are £8.36 for the first 12 weeks and £10.73 after 12 weeks

Due to the nature of this role a Counter Terrorism check will be required to be in place before the role can start.
