Job Description

Branch Assistant
Full Time - 37.5 hours
Monday to Friday - No Weekends!
Hours: 07:30 - 16:00 and 08:30 - 17:00
Salary £20,000 - £23,000 - Depending on experience

Brook Street are working with an industrial factory client based in Gateshead.
They are currently recruiting for a Branch Assistant who has a friendly approach and a can-do attitude.

This role is temporary initially with a view to go permanent for the right person.


About the role:
-Serving customers on trade counter in branch.

-Cover administrative work including telephone calls and emails.
-Involved with warehouse and stock management; picking and packing activities.
-Travelling out on site (replenish stock on sites).
-Help identify customers' needs by using a proactive approach.

Essentials:
-Valid Driving Licence
-Excellent telephone manner
-Great customer service and communication skills
-Flexible with warehouse, administrative work and engineering knowledge.
-Ability to multitask busy workloads
-Computer literate with MS Office.

Desirable:
-Technical knowledge would be an advantage.
