Job Overview Department: Bureau Salary: Up to £30,000 D.O.E + Comprehensive benefits package Location: Hybrid - Southampton (minimum 3 days a week in the office)

Position Summary The Bureau Billing department plays a crucial role in delivering precise and timely billing in compliance with contract requirements for all customers. Our focus extends to implementing and adhering to 'Metering and Billing' best practices while maintaining accreditation.

The primary responsibility of the Bureau Billing Analyst is to invoice all telecommunications and IT services on behalf of clients. Serving as an extension of the client's billing department, the team ensures the provision of accurate invoicing information to the client's end users and customers.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
  • Conduct fraud monitoring checks on customer's billing platforms and manage billing periods.
  • Provide exceptional bureau billing service, addressing platform-related queries via phone and email.
  • Advise customers on potential areas of loss and recommend solutions to enhance margin and profitability.
  • Support team members as needed and maintain a high level of customer service for all queries.
  • Take ownership of assigned Bureau customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Respond within documented SLAs to client inquiries and assist in resolving software problems.
  • Log and take ownership of problems encountered, either directly or reported by customers.
  • Support users in utilising our bespoke ability and affinity software through training and advice.
  • Implement and adhere to all aspects of the TMBS.
  • Adhere to best practices regarding billing procedures.
  • Act in accordance with the requirements of the Information Security Management System.


  • Experience in a Telecoms Billing role.
  • Familiarity with ability and/or Affinity platforms.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Interpretation of written and spoken requirements.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (Experience preferred).
  • Punctuality and time management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Flexibility for UK travel.
