My client, a chartered accountant, is currently looking for a Business Admin/PA candidate with proven high standard of English and the desire to build a career within the finance sector.
The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:
-Arrange face to face and online meetings with third parties,prepare the meeting room and tidying up afterwards,take minutes or arrange recording of the meeting.
-Ensuring that calls are answered in accordance with the firm's policy; ensuring that the switchboard is covered at all times.
-Maintaining a record of all calls taken on a daily basis, producing a monthly report of number and percentage of calls received and returned.
-Making up banking's, processing our purchase invoices, making payment by BACS, ensuring that bank transactions are correctly entered in our records.
-Controlling petty cash and writing up the Petty Cash Book, producing sales invoice, maintaining the practice's Sales Ledger.
-The ideal candidate will also have knowledge or eager to learn the following office systems used:
CCH, Basecone, Twinfield, Sage and Ezora.
At the end of the training period the candidate should be in a position to manage the administrative affairs of our business on his/her own and play an important part in the growth of our business. The position will quickly grow into a senior management position and the skills acquired will be readily transferable to other owner managed businesses.
