Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Working Hours: Monday -Thursday 8:45-17:00, Friday 8:45-16:00, relaxed dress code in the office

Salary: £18k-£25k + commission, OTE year 1 £30k+

Location: Blackpool, Lancashire.

Brook Street Preston is recruiting for fantastic customer service professionals who have a passion for sales to join their successful team of business development executives.

This is an opportunity to join a privately-owned business to introduce a range of energy cost reduction and sustainable energy products to large commercial energy consumers, to book meetings with high level executive contacts.

You will be working with a true people manager who encourages you, motivates you, appreciates you and rewards you, consistently looking for opportunities to develop you.

The telesales team all have a rich database of quality corporate companies and contacts that our client has built over the last 15 years. All these contacts need calling to either introduce the company, or nurture relationships, engage with new contacts and reinvigorate interest in Energy Management solutions, and identify opportunities to book appointments for their sales consultants across the country.

-Qualify prospects and generate leads

-To arrange initial and subsequent meetings for the sales team, promoting company's services and products to help business to save energy cost

-Proactively listen to customer needs and recognize opportunities to upsell/cross sell and promote additional products

-To ensure CRM is updated correctly

-To achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets

-To maximise the potential for appointments by contacting the appropriate people in all events

-To ensure appointments are made of high quality and meet the standard required

-To encourage team motivation and play an active role in achieving team targets

-Highlight opportunities for business development and research

-To prioritise appointment making according to the business requirements

-Collect and record information of prospects using websites, cold calling and any other appropriate method

Ideal candidate will have:

-Solid customer service background who is willing to take next challenge

-Advanced telephone skills in the corporate space

-Communication skills, listening skills, and relationship building

-Resilience. tenacity, self- assured and assertive on the telephone
