Job Description

Are you a professional and value driven business development professional looking for a new role? Would you like to work with an ever expanding manufacturing firm?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working at the client's head office in and around the Widnes to Runcorn area, you will be joining an expanding manufacturing firm who have had an excellent year of business and expansion. Your key duty in this role will be to confident pitching and building your own sales pipeline by a mixture of outbound sales calls and field sales.

Basic, permanent full time salary that ranges between £28,000-£32,000 per annum.
Strong commission and bonus structure that will rapidly increase yearly salary.
Working hours that range between 0800-1700 on a Mon-Fri basis.
Free, on site car parking facilities - it is a preference that the right applicant drives based on the field sales element of the role and the distance of public transport links to the site.

Day to day duties in the role include:

Building up your own sales pipeline via a wide range of activity that would include: sales calls, field sales and building on leads passed across from the sales team.

Approach all sales in a professional and value driven manner.

Ensure higher sales or clients are prioritised and maximise all sales for higher GP purposes.

Comfortable discussing all product ranges and services provided via key product knowledge and researching the business's products.

Pitching sales in a face to face perspective - whether that's with meetings arranged or sales drops.

To apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

At least 2 years' experience in a business development sales focused role.
Experienced in working towards KPI and sales targets.
Can speak to clients or customers in a professional manner.
It would also be desirable for the right candidate to have come from a sales role within a medical or pharmaceutical firm, although this isn't an essential.
