To generate new business across the UK, via a consultative approach to sales, to build a business case for a prospect to transition services to Company.
Target vertical markets, and therefore sales will be primarily focused around professional services sectors but also targeting other sectors.
In addition to the automatic inbound lead generation from the marketing department, the successful applicant will also have a willingness to generate his / her own leads and will be given the correct tools to do so.
Although as an organisation we do not believe in "cold calling", we require the successful applicant to generate their own leads through a highly reachable social media presence, PR and digital marketing.
You will need to have a solid technical background, be a self-starter and have a strong understanding of technology and the commercials associated with developing a business case. A technical, operational and commercial understanding of managed services is essential including; private cloud, public cloud, hybrid solutions, hosted desktops, Office 365, IaaS, SaaS, UC and network connectivity. Although you will have access to presales support, it's imperative that you understand managed services to be able to close deals on your own behalf.
You will need experience of the commercial management of tenders, speculative propositions / proposals and price negotiations. You will need to be able to account plan your opportunities involving multiple people within organisation.
