Job Description

We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive based in London E1. You must have a strong understanding and keen interest in financial services, learning and development and you have strong relationship building skills to bring in new business opportunities.

This role offers a great basic salary of £32000 plus realistic OTE of another £20000 which is uncapped

Our client, a leading financial training business providing training worldwide, teaching in all major financial centres in Europe, US, India and Asia-Pac. Our client is currently working with clients including all of the world`s top ten investment banks and the firm has offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong.

The main purpose of this role is to develop new client relationships in the financial learning services sector in order to deliver solutions to our client`s client base. The role involves consulting with prospective clients and designing and developing our clients professional financial markets education services for financial institutions and other clients across EMEA.

You will be responsible for :
Developing new relationships and networks relevant in the finance industry
Building and growing existing relationships and networks in the industry to develop new business opportunities
Working in a systematic manner to target those new clients which are of most interest to the company
Assisting with bid management and response writing
Developing presentations and delivering high quality proposals to clients
Actively contributing to the growth of the business in EMEA more widely by identifying and developing sales opportunities
Work with the US and Asia New Business teams to leverage global relationships

Skills you will need:
Experience in the same or similar role
Understanding of financial services / learning and development functions
Excellent Working knowledge of MS Office, LinkedIn, Salesforce
The ability to build collaborative relationships across the firm
Excellent communication and networking skills
Strategic and creative thinking and strong commercial sense
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with energy, enthusiasm and drive
