We are currently working with a leading Consultancy and Research company based in Westminster, recruiting for a Business Development Executive with expertise in the financial services sector to join them as soon as possible. A starting salary of up to £55,000 is on offer with OTE of £75,000 based on set targets achieved.
The purpose of this role is to generate new consultancy revenue from the organisation's existing financial services clients subscription services. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities for new consultancy revenues from existing subscription services clients, and establish ongoing relationships with these qualified clients and individuals that result in new business.
Day to day tasks will include:
- Identify leads from sources such as company websites, trade shows, news articles and LinkedIn
- Generate sales activity via telephone, emails and meetings
- Use Salesforce to maintain leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities and activity data
- Writing of proposals and contract negotiation
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you should have proven expertise within developing new and existing business within the financial services sector. You should also have knowledge of, or an interest in business and current affairs, and ideally economics to be able to hold conversation with senior level business professionals.
