Job Description

This role is for someone who:

Has steel sector material knowledge and ideally market knowledge of laser cutting process and principles. knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, general fabrication and welding is also ideal.

To successfully fulfil this role you also need:
Knowledge of CE marking and ISO standards.
Knowledge of field sales best practice, tools and ta-tics.

You will be responsible for delivery against key measures for specific region.
Managing your own diary to ensure that customer visits are undertaken to maximise sales and improve service. Approximate balance of 4 days on the road to 1 working from home.

Responsible for region profit & loss.
Develop existing accounts to increase spend in conjunction with the internal sales and support team.

Account and credit management with new and existing clients in conjunction with the internal sales and support team.
Undertake customer visits in conjunction with Business Development Managers and other business stakeholders.

Recording and reporting field-based sales activity for the UK using the CRM system.
Regeneration of lapsed accounts.
Self-generation of new business.
