Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a New Business Development Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for searching and acquiring new opportunities to drive customer acquisition via B2B partnerships.

The role would best suite an individual with experience in the insurance industry, strong organisational skills and an ability to thrive in a fast paced highly dynamic environment.

Candidates must be prepared to work extra hours when workload and priorities dictate.

The successful candidate for the role of the New Business Development Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities:
" Responsible for the growth of our customer base via B2B partnerships.
" Prospect and uncover new potential partners and markets we can target.
" Actively network by attending the appropriate industry events, conferences, etc.
" Responsible for the negotiation of commercial terms with potential partners.
" Take responsibility for developing and maintaining a prospect database.
" Manage sales process from prospecting through to contract signing.
" Establish new lead generation and customer acquisition opportunities, demonstrate the results from them and play an important role in shaping ELICO's partnership strategy.
" To nurture and develop a relationship with B2B leads and drive fresh revenue from prospective potential customers.
" Work with the Head of Marketing to implement strategies and promotional campaigns.

The successful candidate for the role of New Business Development Manager must have the below skills and experience:
" Minimum 5 years' experience in a B2B environment.
" 5+ years of partnership development, ideally within a B2B market.
" Track record of success in new business sales and deals.
" Commercially minded, excellent presentation skills, proactive and driven approach.
" Respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
" Excellent relationship builder.
" Excellent negotiation skills.
" Experience in leading a small team.
" Strong analytical capability and writing skills to frame opportunities and report activities and results.
" Ability to lead and organise others.
" Excellent research and identification skills to identify new business opportunities.
" Ability to evaluate the potential commercial value of new partnerships.

In return you will receive a salary up to 45,000 dependent on experience, plus free workwear, free parking, onsite child care, free luxury hot drinks, pension, staff outings, flexi time, 28 days holiday with the option to salary surrender for additional holiday.
