Job Description
Job title: Business Development Manager (Care)
Hours: 9:00am-17:30pm
Location: Malvern/London (Flexible working available)
My client is a growing multinational technology company who, due to rapid growth and investment, are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate new business, selling primarily into the Social Care sector (incl. Local Government/Authorities and Housing Associations). With a background in technology (hardware/software), a `hunter` motivation and an ability to create, grow and nurture client relationships (new and existing); you will enjoy uncapped commission with an OTE of £80,000 and an annual car allowance. Your region will be the South UK (including London). Business Development Manager responsibilities:
" Creating, developing and managing a plan to achieve target in your region through the identification of contacts (e.g. Local authorities and housing associations)
" Responsible for the development of a sales strategy, frameworks and other procurement activities in order to generate new accounts
" Creating, developing and managing an active account management plan
" Responsible for client relationship management- including the fostering of existing relationships
" Acting as an account manager in your region and being the first point of contact for clients
" Working alongside the customer support teams and other internal functions to manage and resolve customer issues
" Provide a high standard of client satisfaction
Business Development Manager desired Skills and Experience:
" Experience selling solutions (hardware/software) into the Social Care sector (incl. Local Authorities/ housing associations)
" Ability to generate and manage new business
" Knowledge and understanding of government procurement regulations and practices
" Full Clean driving licence
