Our client based in Trafford Park is looking for a technically minded Business Development Manager. This role is UK Based and will involve around 70% travelling within Europe and it is essential for this position that you are confident in speaking and writing in German.
The main purpose of this position is to lead all sales and business development activity across Central Europe, delivering the budget figure in revenue and profit.
Responsibilities within the role will include:
Build a sustainable domestic market in each of the key countries in the territory with a clear plan for brand awareness, strong partners appointment and preferred supply agreements with all leading OEM's or other suited supply chain actors
Working closely with the 'EMEA Sales Director' at designated major accounts deploy strong and consistent account management, increasing spend and access at all major business functions; technical, operations, procurement and materials.
Identify, recruit and manage agents and distributors across the territory
Represent the company at all technical committees, industry events and exhibitions.
Develop, maintain and execute the market plan, identifying trends, competitor activity and new business development opportunities
Skills and Experience Required:
Experienced in the complete sales process with proven account management background.
Experienced in selling a technical solution
Ability to travel internationally
German Speaking is Essential
