Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client in Crumlin to recruit a new Business Development Manager.
This is a new and exciting role in the company, the role will initially be office based and will eventually move to a field-based role, the new Business Development Manager will be expected to win new business and work to agreed targets.
You will be required to strengthen the company`s client base by developing, defining, promoting, negotiating, and securing new business.
You will develop and maintain company services to existing and potential clients ensuring a profitable return for the company
Responsible for all sales activities and promoting the full range of company`s services
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting sales activity
Prepare proposals based on the customer requirements
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Prepare sales plans and keep up to date records
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure we achieve customer`s satisfaction.
SKILLS: TECHNICAL SKILLS : CRITERIA
- Experience with freight - pallets etc
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Freight forwarding knowledge, good geographical knowledge of NI
- Good networking skills
- Good questioning techniques
- Good time management skills
- Highly interactive, motivated, team player and assertive,
Salary will start on 30k per annum - when role returns to field there will be a company car.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday - office hours
