Job Description

A highly successful, internationally renowned business that manufactures bespoke technology is now recruiting for a full time, permanent Business Development Manager to join their ever growing business specifically selling into Security and Facilities Management market.

As a Business Development Manager you will be tasked with generating new business as well as managing existing relationships. The successful candidate will be contacting decision-makers in the Security and Facilities sector, achieving and exceeding challenging revenue targets and sales objectives, as defined by the Managing Director.
Leads will be generated by self-generation and networking methods, and you will ideally have current contacts within the Security and Facilities Management Sector.
We are looking for:

" Experience selling into Security and Facilities Management companies with proven track record
" Established and current contacts within the Security and Facilities Management sector
" Experience in selling software with a passion for technology
" Possess excellent selling skills (prospecting/qualifying, persuasion, negotiation and closing) throughout the entire sales process
" Ability to conduct effective research proactively
" Possess a self-motivated and disciplined approach to achieve results
" 5-8 years` successful experience in a sales environment
" Enthusiastic, competitive, results-driven and solutions-orientated with a strong work ethic, high levels of confidence and integrity
" Possess a valid UK driving license
" Ability to consult with clients and solve challenges by selecting and demonstrating our most appropriate system features
" A competent presenter who can demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing
" Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and experience in Office365
" Self-critical and receptive to advice and constructive criticism

Essentially what we are looking for is an individual who is able to approach this position head on. This requires a candidate with experience in selling into the desired market, with relevant and up to date contacts and decision makers related to the product being sold.

In return for all the above you will be rewarded with a highly competitive basic salary, that can be negotiated dependant on experience in the Security and Facilities market, plus car allowance and an OTE of 50% of the salary, pension, life insurance and additional company benefits.
