Job Description

A highly successful, internationally renowned business that manufactures bespoke technology is now recruiting for a full time, permanent Business Development Manager to join their ever growing business specifically selling into Security and Facilities Management market.

As a Business Development Manager you will be tasked with generating new business as well as managing existing relationships. The successful candidate will be contacting decision-makers in the Security and Facilities sector, achieving and exceeding challenging revenue targets and sales objectives, as defined by the Managing Director.
Leads will be generated by self-generation and networking methods, and you will ideally have current contacts within the Security and Facilities Management Sector.


We are looking for:

-Experience selling into Security and Facilities Management companies with proven track record
-Established and current contacts within the Security and Facilities Management sector
-Experience in selling software with a passion for technology
-Possess excellent selling skills (prospecting/qualifying, persuasion, negotiation and closing) throughout the entire sales process
-Ability to conduct effective research proactively
-Possess a self-motivated and disciplined approach to achieve results
-5-8 years` successful experience in a sales environment
-Enthusiastic, competitive, results-driven and solutions-orientated with a strong work ethic, high levels of confidence and integrity
-Possess a valid UK driving license
-Ability to consult with clients and solve challenges by selecting and demonstrating our most appropriate system features
-A competent presenter who can demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing
-Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and experience in Office365
-Self-critical and receptive to advice and constructive criticism


In return for all the above you will be rewarded with a highly competitive basic salary, that can be negotiated dependant on experience in the Security and Facilities market, plus car allowance and an OTE of 50% of the salary, pension, life insurance and additional company benefits.
